The weekend of September 16th, I went to Riot Fest to cover the festival for The Chronicle. Though Riot Fest itself is controversial, I created some of the best portraits in my photography carrier. Riot Fest was my first time stepping into the world of concert photography and photo pits. I met so many incredible people and artists in my experience. Experimenting in a whole new world took me out of my comfort zone to create some incredible photos.
